The Becoming Collection | 2027 Children’s Affirmation Calendars

The Becoming Collection is a beautifully illustrated series of 2027 affirmation wall calendars created to help Black children see themselves represented, celebrated, and encouraged every day of the year.

Designed by Ashley Deneen, each calendar pairs vibrant artwork featuring Black children with positive, age-appropriate “I AM” affirmations that encourage confidence, courage, self-love, leadership, gratitude, resilience, and big dreams.

Created for children ages 3–12, the collection includes four unique calendars:

  • 👑 Little Queens | Ages 3–7 — Encouraging young girls to know they are loved, worthy, beautiful, and capable.
  • 👑 Little Kings | Ages 3–7 — Helping young boys develop courage, confidence, kindness, and belief in themselves.
  • 💜 Confident & Courageous | Ages 8–12 — Inspiring pre-teen girls to embrace who they are and confidently become who they were created to be.
  • 🌟 Future Leaders | Ages 8–12 — Empowering pre-teen boys to dream bigger, lead with purpose, and recognize the greatness within themselves.

Every month introduces inspiring artwork and a meaningful affirmation children can carry with them throughout the month.
